Wholesale Trade is a monthly report derived from the U.S. Census Bureau of sales and inventories of U.S. merchant wholesalers. The monthly survey and the annual survey together produce the most comprehensive data available on wholesale economic activity in the United States.
Special Notice: The U.S. Census Bureau will soon revise monthly wholesale sales, inventories, and inventories-to-sales ratios to reflect the introduction of a new sample, new seasonal factors and results of the 2011 Annual Wholesale Trade Survey.
